Juvenile Swimming Competition

Because of our interest in contributing to the development of our young people, we decided to sponsor the sport of swimming which develops intellect and strengthens the body. AcuaCoop is an event that also exemplifies the community involvement of our company by helping thousands of youngsters gain motivation and perseverance. In AcuaCoop, girls and boys between the ages of 7 and 14 can participate. These participants can be part of the swimming Federation in the novice category, or they can learn how to swim. They are divided into categories depending on their ages whether they belong to the Federation or not. There are eight categories:

7-8 years old 50 meters
9-10 years old 50 meters
11-12 years old 50 meters
13-14 years old 50 meters

Any child who is interested in participating should sign up at the regional competition closest to his or her community. The inscription forms are available as of the month of March at our Regional Offices and all other cooperatives in Puerto Rico.

The inscription form should be accompanied by the participant's birth certificate, a medical certificate and two 2 x 2 photos. AcuaCoop is composed of 4 regional competitions (Ponce, Bayamón, Carolina and Arecibo). There is one final competition that takes place at the Albergue Olímpico.

Today we can proudly rightly state that various young participants representing Puerto Rico in the Central American and the Caribbean games were a product of AcuaCoop. This was the case with Arsenio López, Solimar Mojica, Elaine López and Vanessa García.

Once again we make a difference whenever we see a smile on a child's face, or witness the feeling of pride of a parent. A united family, just like the great family of Seguros Múltiples de Puerto Rico where every year coworkers from our different departments and offices work and share in the experience of AcuaCoop.
