Speech Competition

What is the Speech Competition?

The speech competition is another youth program sponsored by Cooperativa de Seguros Múltiples. Its purpose is to help students develop better speech and oratory skills in Spanish. Also, it allows these students to reflect upon, and write about, the positive aspects of cooperative action.

Students are given a topic, usually related to the cooperative experience. They are asked to write a five minutes speech, which they will deliver before a jury panel and an audience of their peers, parents and teachers.

It is open to all students in Puerto Rico's Educational System, from grade school to high school, between the ages 9 and 18.
