For the year 2008-2009 the Board of Directors is presided by Attorney Raúl N. Carrero Crespo who will be assisted in his endeavors by Dr. Fernando L. Joglar Virella, Vice-president; Mr. José R. Torres Ramírez, Second Vice-president; Miss Altagracia Peña Suárez, Secretary; Miss Carmen E. Muñoz Hernández, Treasurer; Prof. Nancy Banrey Aponte, Sub-secretary; Engineer José A. Morales Burgos, Sub-treasurer and the following Directors: Attorney Héctor L. Torres Catalán, Prof. Luis A. Velázquez Vera, Mrs. Brenda J. Valera García, Mrs. Agnes Y. Quiñones Figueroa, Mr. Roberto Delgado Jiménez, and Mr. Federico Rivera Llópiz.

The Board of Directors is the governing body of the company in charge of establishing the policies of the institution. Its members are elected in an annual assembly, through the direct vote of the delegates of affiliated cooperatives.
