Safe Driving

Ruta Segura (A Sure Path)

This program began on December 7, 2008, inside the facilities of Escuela Central de Artes Visuales.  The discussion was directed at high school students and it was based on how to drive safely and the responsibility inherent in driving on the road.

The program has the support of the Puerto Rico Police Department, the Department of Education and the Department of Transportation and Public Works and the Commission for Traffic Safety. “Drive on the Sure Path” consists of an intensive course with an interactive presentation. 
The presentation includes a video with testimonials from traffic accident survivors, a review of theoretical knowledge of traffic signals and a driving simulation.
