Silkscreen: What to do with the memories?

“What to do with the memories?” is the title of a magnificent work of art created and printed in silkscreen by master artist Nelson Sambolín, the sale of which will contribute to the strengthening of educational services and programs offered by the Alzheimer’s Association of Puerto Rico, in an effort sponsored by Cooperativa de Seguros Múltiples de Puerto Rico.

For the creation of this work, Sambolín was inspired by the figure of the well- remembered Puerto Rican poet, Ángela María Dávila, who died young and lived the final years of her life suffering from the Alzheimer’s condition.

"In addition to paying homage to our great poet Angela María, this work has the additional purpose of transmitting a message of peace and hope, and to call upon our people to be in solidarity with patients of Alzheimer’s,” said master artist Nelson Sambolín.
