Seguros Múltiples Grant Donation to Hogares de Niñas Teresa Toda

For the third consecutive year, the Board of Directors of Cooperativa de Seguros Múltiples de Puerto Rico granted a donation to “Hogares Teresa Toda,” an institution that shelters and assists orphan girls from 6 to 18 years of age, who come from low income families or whose families are confronting serious social or health problems.

In 2004, Seguros Múltiples granted this institution an initial donation of $10,000.  In 2005, it donated $5,000 and the same amount in 2006.

“As a supportive cooperative, Seguros Múltiples accepts its responsibility of sharing its material and human wealth with our community,” said Raúl Carrero Crespo, President of the Board of Directors. “This grant to Hogares Teresa Toda is a thankful motivational gesture in solidarity with the hard work that, with few economic resources, is being carried out by this institution.”

Sister Inés Peña Pérez, Director of Hogares Teresa Toda, accepted the donation  and gave thanks on behalf of the thousands of girls who through the years have benefited from the youth hostel and its warm and humane services.
